Position: Accounting And Office Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting and Office Manager to join Tamermann team. This role combines the responsibilities of managing the office’s day-to-day operations with overseeing the financial management of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Functions:
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Taking care of all custom clearance documents, tax office documents, making sure all is organized and well saved in the company’s archive.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements, including preparing and filing tax returns.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities; monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Assist with financial audits, including preparing documentation and working with external auditors.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely payments.
- Process employee expense reports and maintain proper documentation.
Office Management Functions:
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and coordinating maintenance and repair services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding office-related matters, including space management and office layout.
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Support HR functions such as managing employee records, coordinating new hire onboarding, and tracking employee attendance.
- Organize company meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Polish native and English fluency is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in accounting, bookkeeping, or office management roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with payroll processing and HR functions.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Knowledge of office management software or tools.
