Position:  Key Account Manager

 

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and manage relationships with our most important clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of customer needs, and a strategic mindset that ensures client satisfaction while driving revenue growth for the company. As a Key Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for key clients and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Key Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Client Retention and Growth: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to drive customer loyalty, retention, and growth opportunities.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets, including upselling and cross-selling additional services/products.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, product development) to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs.
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly monitor and analyze account performance, ensuring that key performance metrics (KPIs) are met and exceeded.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and client satisfaction, presenting insights to management.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by key clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on renewals, contract terms, and pricing, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, using insights to improve client engagement and company offerings.

Qualifications:

  • English language, plus any of the following langauges: French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in account management, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of business development, sales principles, and account management best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and interpret client needs, market trends, and financial metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing large, high-value accounts or clients.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple key accounts and deliver under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the industry or sector in which the company operates.
